Reservation

  1. How do I make a reservation?
    • You can make a reservation online via our website www.book-transfer-croatia.com You will need to provide your departure point, destination, number of people and date. Then, just choose your vehicle type and if you would like a retrun trip, the price will be shown for both one way and return. If the destination you would like to travel to is not listed on our website, you can contact us via phone or email and we will provide you a quote for the reservation.

  2. Do all reservations have to be made prior to the date?
    • We highly recommend making a reservation prior to your date of travel, when you make a reservation, we put this in our booking system and allocate a vehicle for you. We can make last minute reservations, subject to availability for your chosen date and transfer route.

  3. What vehicles are available?
    • We have available standard cars, luxury cars, passenger van (5 people), passenger vans (8 people), minibus (14 people). If you require another vehicle type, we are able to organise these on request.

  4. How do I locate my driver?
    • The driver will pick you up from your departure point that you provide in your reservation. If your departure point is at an airport, the driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a tablet that has your name shown on it.
      In case you are not able to establish contact with our driver at the agreed place and agreed time, please contact our call-center as soon as possible on +385 95 5083 183, where we will provide you further instructions. Keep note of our number!

  5. What is my travel time?
    • We can provide you the journey time based on everyday traffic conditions, however, the journey time can change due different factors, this could be traffic in high season, road works etc. The driver will let you know if there is going to be any major delays on your journey.

  6. What are the advantages of booking a transfer-taxi rather than a normal taxi?
    • The advantages of booking a transfer-taxi with book-transfer-croatia.com are that we provide you a fixed rate for your transfer route, you have the option to pay the total amount in advance, therefore allowing you to calculate your expenses easily. Our rates do not vary due to longer journey times because of road works and traffic, and by making your reservation with us you dont have to spend your precious holiday time trying to hail a cab during the busy periods.

  7. What will happen if my flight is delayed?
    • We ask you provide us your flight number when you are making your reservation, with this information we can track your flight in real time, and have up-to-date information about any delay that might occur. If there is a delay our driver will know, and will be waiting for you at the correct time in the arrivals hall.

  8. Do I have to pay more due to a flight delay?
    • If your flight is delayed, we will not charge an additional fee for the driver to wait.

  9. Why is my payment declined? I am providing the right card number.
    • There could be a few possibilities why your card was declined:
      Your cards expiry date is prior to your reservation
      You have insufficient funds in your account
      Please contact your bank directly if either of the above is one of the reasons.

  10. Am I able to make a reservation using another person`s credit card?
    • If you do not have a credit card, and want to make a payment with someone elses credit card, you must first have permission from that person, prior to making the payment.

Reservation confirmation

  1. How do I confirm that I have made a reservation?
    • When you make your reservation, you will receive a notification that your reservation is in progress, once we have confirmed the reservation you will receive confirmation stating that your reservation has been received and processed accordingly. This process usually takes approx 2 hours, but can take up to 12 hours. Once you have received your confirmation email, you can rest assure that we have your reservation and everything is OK.

  2. I have made my reservation, but I have not received a confirmation?
    • When you make your reservation, all the information you have entered must be processed by us, and can take up to 12 hours. We will then send you a confirmation email. Please make sure that the email address you enter is correct and valid, and please check your SPAM folder. If you still have no confirmation please contact us via phone or email.

  3. What will happen if I lose my voucher?
    • If you lose your voucher, don`t worry, contact us via phone or email and we will issue you another voucher.

  4. What insurance am I covered by?
    • You and your luggage are covered by our insurance on your transfer. We strongly recommend that you have your own travel insurance for your entire trip.

Additional requirements

  1. Is there an extra charge for excessive luggage?
    • We do not have an additional charge for excessive luggage, our driver will place your luggage in the car so that is secure and safe for your journey.

  2. Can my transfer include a child or children?
    • You can travel with a child or children, however, children under 12 years are not allowed to travel without an adult. Children aged 12-18 must have written permission from their parents. If you require a car seat for your journey, please notify us prior to your transfer.

  3. Can your provide transport for disabled people?
    • We provide transport for everybody, you will need to let us know of any special assistance or requirements that are required prior to your transfer so that we can organise the transfer vehicle accordingly.

  4. Can I book and transfer and tour with you?
    • Book Transfer Croatia can provide you with a transfer and a tour! The tour can be organised on request, you will have a driver that speaks English, and at an additional cost we can organise a tour guide and entry fee, if required, to your chosen destination or historic site.

  5. Can I smoke during the transfer?
    • Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle during the transfer, however you can arrange with your driver to have a break when needed. It may vary your travel times slightly, depending on how many times you would like to have a break.

  6. Is our transfer direct or can we stop along the way?
    • Our transfer route will be from your pick up point to your required destination that you provide in your reservation. You can arrange with your driver to have small breaks during the journey, if you need to stop for any reason. If you would like to stop at certain tourist spots,you will need to book a tour through us, that way you will have time to look around and enjoy.

  7. Can I bring my pet in the transfer vehicle?
    • We can transport your pet, as long as the pet has a travel box and you are happy for the pet to ride in the luggage department of the vehicle.

  8. I cannot find the answer to my questions, what should I do?

Payment of transfer

  1. When and how do I pay for the transfer?
    • We have a few different payment options:Pay a 20% advance payment via Credit Card on our website and pay the 80% balance in cash to your driver on the day - Please note: With a total cost of more than 200 euro, a deposit of 20% is mandatoryMake the full payment prior to your transfer via Credit card on our website.Make full payment in cash to the driver on the day – This option is only available on some transfer routes.

  2. Can I make a reservation without a credit card?
    • On some particular transfer routes you are able to choose to make the full payment in cash to your driver on the day. Please be aware this is not available for all transfer routes. If you choose this particular payment method you will need to provide a valid phone number or email, we will contact you on the day you make your reservation to confirm that the details you have entered are correct, we will also contact you on the day before your transfer, if the details provided are invalid or you are unreachable we will cancel your reservation immediately.

  3. Is my credit card safe when booking?
    • We use your credit card to confirm your reservation, or when you make a full payment prior to your transfer depending on which option you choose when you make your reservation. To protect data from your Credit Card, we use SecureSocketsLayer (SSL) technology and your data is completely safe. If there is any fraud or abuse of your credit card by a third party, your bank or credit card company bear the risk and cover all the costs associated with that. We pride ourselves in customer service and guarantee and respect your privacy. Ween sure all your personal information and credit card information required for making a reservation will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent.

  4. What is included in my price?
    • When you book a one way trip with us the price includes your journey from your pick up point to your destination. When you book a return trip with us the price includes the journey to your destination and also journey from your return pick up point to your destiantion. We have Free Wi-Fi in all our transfer vehicles. Also included in your price is 24/7 Customer Support, so if you have any questions or issues please contact us via phone or email.

  5. Is the price per person or per vehicle?
    • Your transfer price is calculated per vehicle, your vehicle is chosen as per the amount of passengers travelling.

  6. What are the references of my driver?
    • Drivers of Book Transfer Croatia are professional that have had long term experience in providing transfer services. They will provide you the best service guaranteed and will be prepared for your journey.

  7. Does my fare include a tip?
    • Your fare does not include a tip, it is your choice and can be provided at your descretion.

  8. I need a receipt for my journey?
    • When you make a payment prior to your transfer, you will be provided a receipt via email.

Change and cancellation of reservation

  1. Can I cancel my reservation?
    • If you need to cancel or change your reservation, you will need to follow the instructions that have been provided in your confirmation email. Please take into account our cancellation policy and prior notice that you need to provide us with. If sufficient notice is not provided we may still charge you part or the full amount of your booking.

  2. How do I confirm that my reservation has been cancelled?
    • When we receive your cancellation we will process the cancellation and send you a confirmation email within 12 hours. If you do not receive the email, please check your SPAM folder, if there is still no email contact us immediately via phone or email.

  3. Can I change my travel route and/or personal information after booking the transfer?
    • In case your travel plans or personal details change after you have done your reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your transfer via phone or email, so that we are able to change your details and organise your updated travel route and car. Please note that the price and the travel time can change if you change your pick-up and/or pick-off point. If the transfer changes are possible, they will become valid only after they are confirmed by Transfer provider company.
